DC inverter
Variable-speed compressor control that follows the load.
What each technology in the RV DC inverter series does, and just as important, what it does not do.
Variable-speed compressor control that follows the load.
Every RV model uses a Mitsubishi DC inverter compressor, the component that sets the unit's efficiency and modulation range. How inverter control works.
Lower GWP and a smaller charge than R410A.
Two inputs that let an energy manager lock, release or boost the heat pump.
Adjusting the water temperature to the outdoor temperature.
Why an air-source coil ices up and how it is cleared.
What changes as the outdoor temperature approaches −20 °C.
Every RV model has a 7-inch touchscreen controller with a multilingual interface. From it the user selects the operating mode (heating, cooling, domestic hot water), adjusts temperatures, sets schedules and reads the system status.
Wi-Fi connects the controller to an app for remote monitoring and control of the same functions. Wi-Fi is a convenience layer: the heat pump runs normally on its local controller if the internet connection is lost.
"Smart Home Ready" means the RV series can be made part of a home automation system, not that it works with every ecosystem out of the box. Integration uses what the controller exposes: the Wi-Fi app for users, and the SG Ready contact inputs for energy managers and automation controllers.
What a given installation can do depends on the controller interfaces, the automation platform and how the two are wired and configured. Tell us which system you use and we will confirm the integration route before you order.
Send the building details, location and the emitters you plan to use. We come back with a model proposal and a quotation.
